“I am exploring ambiguity and misunderstanding in this piece. I see the elements in this piece as saying, ‘Don’t get too close’, but it isn’t clear whether they are getting too close to each other, or too close to some unforeseen danger, or too close to a contentious topic of conversation.”

Three blown glass elements in turquoise, pale yellow and purple, are attached to a base of clear glass, made from casting several gathers of glass onto a steel table, or “marver”.
